Designed for applications where a wider gouge or broader metal-removal pattern is preferred.

DC Reverse [+] Polarity

Strike an arc between the workpiece and the flat gouging carbon while directing compressed air at the arc.

The arc melts the base metal while the air stream blows the molten metal away from the gouging area.

Use approximately 80–100 psi air pressure and adjust carbon angle, amperage and travel speed to control the width and depth of the gouge.
